damn im sooooo tired! this week has been a stress, overwhelmed by hw tests... study study study! back in japan, i always thought that i was a little bit nerdy. but this week, i became the ultimate nerd! hahaha. so many sessions of hard-core studyin... (with a little bit o chattin n wanderin up n down the hall foolin about)... oh well, at least its all over and now i can go back to being somewhat more normal!  lol. enjoy a bit of my college life.

...so this weekend (yesterday) i had some fun! i mean, i had to reward myself for all the work right?

i went to this party at the Hyatt hotel downtown, where ppl from universities in the st louis region gather for a dance party. it was geared towards asains so there was an entire room full of asains asians and some more asians! hehehe. so cool. got to get in touch with my asain side, which i sometimes forget while im minglin with ppl here at wash u.

it twas great! meetin lodsa new ppl, talkin here, laughin there and dancin, ppl gettin tipsy... if only the dj had a better taste in music it would have been better jk.

anyway, i luv the ppl im gettin to know here and im thankful for this life

once again, im dead tired today. imma go get my beauty sleep. cherios

damn. so this really sucks! cuz this friday i came down with a cold... i think! wat with a headache, sore throat, dizzy head... uh. so i ended up stayin in bed on friday! missin the entire WILD! im sooooo mad!

well, lookin on the bright side o things, im all good now and i have enough energy to study... study... study hahaha. i can see myself becomin a hardcore nerd soon! lol

but since i've made a full recovery now, i went to the gym! hm... i hadnt worked out in a long time and it felt really good! it was just for an hour cuz i had a tutorial session to attend, but i feel so much healthier! hehe.  one worry though... is that ill be walkin like an old woman cuz o pains in my legs. hahaha even better was the shower this gym session! a-h.

off to my tutorial now!  lol. ~life's crazy~.

anyway, recently, ive been gettin bogged down with work from my classes... (despite the fact that i only take four courses) hahaha. anyway, apart from the studyin and hangin out with some friends, there is one high-light to this week. on friday, theres this thing called WILD. its a concert held on wash u campus where famous singers come to perform for students here. ive never been to a concert before and have not seen a live performance before, so when i heard that murphy lee was one of the performers, i flipped out! :)

right now, its 3am and i want to go to sleep, but one of my floormate's sleepin on my bed... im gonna have to somehow move the person off my bed! lol. oh well, im gonna make a serious attempt now

wow! its been almost a month since my last entry.

anyway, this is my fourth week at wash u in st. louis. im gettin used to this university bit by bit. startin to remember a couple of names, gettin used to eat the food, doin laundry, sharin a room with another person, havin friends around 24-7 and just havin some fun! hahahaha.

i havent faced the crisis of missing home or japan, cuz i do like the kind of food and ppl i find over here in the states... but i do miss the ppl i used to see durin the 18years in japan.

oh yes... i have sone things that i am not satisfied with (since i got to st. louis). first of all... some ppl told me that i was going to see lots of cows and fields of corn. BUT i havent seen any cows nor corn, except in supper markets! i was kinda upset because i was startin to get excited about milkin some cows and frolickin in the fields... and i cant do that! :( oh well... (tear...)

the other thing is that there are pigeons in st. louis... and they're not just your ordinary pigeon (like the ones that you see in japan). they're about 1.5 times bigger than japanese pigeons... this makes them 1.5 times scarier... 1.5 times annoying... and 1.5 times feathery... as a result, i am 1.5 times more affraid that they will poop on me when i see one! aaaahhhh!

but other than that, life here is pretty fullfilling. we dont really do anything like go shoppin in malls, or go to the movies... or hang out at starbucks cuz there's nothin around the campus thats very city-like... afterall its a suburb. yet, i am very satisfied just hangin out with the ppl here. interesting findings every day! hahaha... i sound smart lol.

hope ill manage at this university.

yesterday was a jam! a little sad though... i spent the last day with shiho (may be yuka...) watchin spiderman 2! but it was all good cuz we got to listen to that ultimately cool spiderman song... the one that goes something like... 'spiderman, spiderman, friendly neighborhood spiderman...blah blah blah... here comes the spiderman!' lolo. that song was stuck in my head for the entire day till the dinner at capuri hehe. (it eventually gave me a kinda headache :P) n we also took some nice purikuras... damn, im gonna miss the two o em very much!  sniff sniff sniff

anyway, so it was dinner at capuri after that... had a go at eatin some gnocchi (or something like that) visually, it looks like grub, but tastes like pumpkin yum yum yum.

n we eventally made our way to bungalo... not mac, cuz we'd get carded n the place our group just cant live in harmony :P but jeez! never knew that about 20 ppl would be showin up at the karaoke!  LOL. damn... everybody was goin hyper n everyone was so happy, enjoyin their hearts out! (that is... um... including me... i think...) it was so nice gettin to see so many ppl before i leave. i hope i got to say a good bye to everyone... n if i did miss anyone, thanks for makin the day such a blast. i really feel spoilt havin these ppl around me!

well, im gonna resume packin so bu bye for now
